Devon API are organising monthly meetings in Totnes and/or Ashburton commencing October 2010. During each meeting, families will also be able to try out a selection of baby wraps and carriers kindly donated by retailers, manufacturers and members. In Spring this year several articles appeared in the national press concerning the safety of 'bag style' carriers which typically carry the baby low on the parents body, nestled in a deep pouch. Slumber-Roo do not sell 'bag-style' carriers which we consider unsafe, and we are delighted that at least one brand of these unsafe bag carriers has recently been recalled after years of lobbying by babywearing experts.
